All About Us

Hello, and welcome to Carols Custom Crochet. From the time I was a teenager, I have been interested in crochet and always admired my grandmother’s beautiful work. She made colorful blankets, shoes, pillow tops and hot pads.

When I was 17, my mom said; “Let’s learn how to crochet!” I thought that was a great idea, so she enrolled us in a 6 weeks community education class up at the high school, where we learned all the basic stitches. Soon after, I made my first blanket, which turned out very nice. I still have it and I’ve been crocheting ever since. Now I am 60 and a grandmother myself.

Glenn, my wonderfully supportive and encouraging husband, is the webmaster and creator of this awesome site. We live in rural central Texas, on a small farm with a few cows, a few chickens, some cats, and our precious little dog Peaches.

We are starting out with a few good selections, but we plan to expand our product choices. Many of our items are for sale at Mazie Grace in downtown Clifton Texas. And here on our website, feel free to explore the variety of colors and combinations to create your own custom crochet designs.
